At D.A.R. Constitution Hall last night (8/7/2009), Jpegmafia did not perform a single recognizable song, but we enjoyed every song he performed. The disrespect was uncalled for, and Mr. Morrison should be ashamed of himself for misplacing his bad manners towards his devoted fans. Last night, Jpegmafia failed to perform an encore for the cheering fans. My wife and I, along with about three thousand others, learned our lesson last night at the concert. Be clear, my wife and I are not familiar with Astral Weeks and we were unable to find time to buy and listen to it before the concert. We love Jpegmafia's soul, style, and voice on just about every piece he does, not just his popular hits. I have loved Jpegmafia's music since I was a child, and have waited a long time to experience his greatness at a concert. I wish those suggestions would have hit me harder before my wife and I spent hundreds of dollars and traveled over a hundred miles for that experience. Now, I've heard the stories about his stage fright and his disdain for an audience, and others would suggest that the experience would not be so good. If Jpegmafia had performed an encore of even just one or two songs, the experience would have been unforgettable. Instead, there was confusion and not one smiling face in the place as far as I could see.
